Young Buck's efforts to bury the hatchet with G-Unit nemesis The Game, did not sit well with his boss 50 Cent.
During an interview with Miss Jones' Hot 97 radio show this morning (April 4), 50 addressed his feelings towards Buck when he was queried about his Southern affiliate's attempts to make peace with Game. Buck and Game, who had lyrically attacked each other since Game's departure from G-Unit in 2005, squashed their feud after bumping into one another in Las Vegas last month. The truce would then be broken yesterday (April 3) when Game released a track aimed at Buck and G-Unit for an alleged assault on 14- year-old James Rosemond by G-Unit rapper Tony Yayo. James is the son of Game's manager, Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond. "If you listened to the Angie Martinez show when Young Buck was on there, he made references to himself as being his own man and making his own decisions, and trying to make friends with people that I have issues with,"explained 50. "I hold him in the same space that I held Game in...now since then, Game has released a record and dissed him again. That right there just shows you." "It doesn't say me and Buck got beef," the G-Unit honcho emphasized. "He's in the same space. He's in the same boat from having the same actions." When asked if he would appear on any of Buck's upcoming songs 50 replied, "you should expect to not hear me on none of [G-Unit's] stuff. You should expect them to create their own projects and their own careers at this point. I made sacrifices for 50 Cent on the creative in order to help set them up. Held in the same boat as Game?? 50 kicked Game outta G-Unit, is he saying the same for Buck?? |

I don't rate Buck anyway. I'd be more worried if Banks was leaving the Unit. props on the news.

I think Buck should leave.
The good thing of Buck is that his style don't copy the normaly G-Unit shit. If he leaves G-Unit he gets maybe a better career. |

Let's put it like this: If Buck leaves, no one will give a shit about G-Unit.

I know alot of people hate on 50, but I must say that I think Buck is being the bitch in all this, and I like Buck. My problem is that the Game and now Buck wouldn't be shit without 50 and now it seems that Buck is being ungrateful. Buck was part of Juvenile's UTP group before 50 took him under the G-Unit wing, but let's be honest. UTP ain't really about shit in the grand scheme of things, although I do like Juve and their CD is decent. But 50 is really the one who jump started Buck, Banks, and Game's career. Without 50, they might have been mildly successful, but anyone who thinks that Buck would have sold what he has without being a G-Unit member and without the help of 50 is fooling themselves. When 50 was on fire and everyone was loving GRODT, 50 put Buck and Banks on that PIMP remix video, and that is the type of thing that builds buzz to people who didn't know about Buck or Banks. I guarantee you there was some non-hardcore rap fans that was like "Ooohh, look. 50 has some new click with him called G-Unit. I saw them in the PIMP video. It is some dude named Young Buck and Lloyd Banks. I am going to be on the lookout for them. They must be tight if 50 is fucking with them, and I liked their verses on PIMP.".....and stuff like that helped boost them.
To me Buck is acting like he forgot where he came from. He can lay low, stay out of 50's beefs with other rappers, and still represent the Unit if he truly wanted to. All Buck would have to say is something like "I really don't need to be involved in 50's beef with other people, but I will stand up and and ride for him IF he needs me too or if people attack my G-Unit camp" or soemthing along those lines. Buck making a peace treaty with the Game after all that has been said is weak on Buck's part. I am not saying he should have kept a beef war going, but he could have just ignored Game or said "I am done talking about him. I am moving on." But Game went to far in my eyes for Buck to be cool now by always saying shit like "Yeah, Banks and Buck are faggots. They suck 50's dick etc" and all that bullshit that Game comes up with. I just think Buck could have stayed more loyal to G-Unit and been cool with who he wanted to be cool with at the same time. Anyways, this is just my opinion. I like Buck, Banks, Game, and 50 all about the same or at least I like the good music that they all put out, and I hate the crappy shit or redundant retarded diss songs they put out. I am just a fan of good music, period. Liking or disliking a rapper because they are from a certain label or camp is stupid and pointless since 95% of us probably don't hang out or know any of these rappers personally. If you like Game, that shouldn't mean you hate 50 Cent just because he does. People should enjoy good music and hot tracks no matter where they come from. Sorry for the long post, but I just wanted to put this out there. |
