am I the only person that thinks this is 1 of the most overated disses?cuz thats like all ppl talk about but when I heard it I didnt think it was all that special but thats just my opinion...wat yall think?

I know, it's in my top 3 maybe, its 4show in my top 5. BUt I haven't heard all disses so I cant say everything

I won't say it's overrated, but more like exposed. Nas is known worldwide that's why so many people talked about Ether.. I'm sure there are artists that you listen to and I don't, who potentially have a better or just as good diss song as Ether, you get wha I mean..

Though Ether is definitely in my top 5

It's funny because, I'd say about, 70% of hip-hop is battle style lyrics. Rappers talking in their songs as if their ACTUALLY in a battle. EX: 'I'll slap your mom' or something to that effect.

But once someone inserts an ACTUAL rapper's name into it, everybody's like, 'OHHHHHHHHH'.

Please, battle lyrics are everywhere. Almost everything is a 'diss song'.

What I thought was ILL was when NAS put out "Last real nigga alive" on GOS's SON ---- Explaning the whole BEEF, and how JAY-Z just bit his whole style. NAS WAS THE FIRST
