i gotta say Papa's Got a Brand New Excuse when Will's pops comes back into his life but at the end fools Will into thinkin its for real. Will breaks down and everythin at the end. THe whole episode is powerful. Some good a** actin too.

To many good episodes but yeah...that episode still smashes anything on tv today..u dont see real messages like that anymore

yea the papa episode was good. i actually kinda cried b/c i can relate to it in a way. i like them all but some that come to mind are when they went on oprah, when will went camping with lisa's dad, damn theres soo many

fresh prince is probably the only show that i can never get tired of watchin reruns of...it never gets old...always stays funny! will owned the industry back then...he also held his own in the hip hop world...too many good episodes...but it always cracks me up when carlton does his dance...jeffrey makes his smart ass comments...the phil fat jokes by will...this show even compared to today's shows still owns...i would rather watch fresh prince than some of the crap on tv today...

I would have to agree that "Papa's Got a Brand New Excuse" is one of the most powerful episodes. my favorite moment was the ending where Will finally expresses his feelings about his father. the only two episodes i feel that come close to sending a strong message were "Just Say Yo" and "Bullets over Bel Air".

The one where Will challenges Carlton to spend a weekend in Compton.

Carlton hangs out with D-Bo and some other gangstas and becomes a gee.

Will then has a dream that the cops are after Carlton who pulls out nun-chucks and Uncle Phil is stranglin Will.

Classic.
