New 'Hercules' Movie On The Way

There have, over the course of history, been several movies based on the life of Hercules, but none recently. Since the sword-and-sandal genre has received a big boost of late, what with the success of 300, so it only seems logical that the demi-god who invented it would return to the big screen.

The script will be written by the same man who made The Crow: Wicked Prayer and Halloween: Ressurection, so he's got that straight-to-video thing down pat. Let's see if he can make the leap to the big screen with the big Greek hero, and his legendary trials.
