William Hurt Joins 'The Incredible Hulk'

We'll never forget actor William Hurt's early role in 1980's amazing exploitation flick Altered States--seriously, Netflix it; it'll change your life--so we're happy he's joining the cast of upcoming Hulk flick The Incredible Hulk.

Hurt will play Gen. Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, a man dedicated to capturing the Hulk--and who also is the father of Bruce Banner's love interest, Betty Ross.

Hurt joins an already impressive cast including Edward Norton, Liv Tyler and Tim Roth.

No word on a release date yet, but, unless something goes horribly wrong, look for the movie to be released in summertime blockbuster time slots.
