Well I wasn't talking about remakes that have the same scenes and were shot for shot identical. But good point about the Black X-Mas'. I guess re-invention is better sometimes.

Truth. I mean, I'm not trying to shoot down your opinion, I just dig the whole re-imagining thing cause it's fun, and it gives me a chance to see a fresh side of it. Even if I end up not liking, it's still a worthwhile watch.

The day HORROR MOVIES start having a format that they NEED to follow is the day the genre should fucking die. That's pretty simple minded right there.
