Yeah I hear the engines rival the RB26DETTs in terms of durability. The downside is that in the states they're rarer than your average used sports car and it's hard to find a good quality stock Supra for a decent cost. The lowest I've seen stock (decent mileage) was around 30k...then add more to that if you wanna internally mod it.
I'm sure RS can point out several cheap ones in the land down under though lol.

 them cheap as chips again down here..........if you wanna see how cheap aussy imports are check that site, just type in what you wanna look for.that supra donk is a beast, IMO the hardest workin motor out, the bottem end is like a tank. some dude down the road got that motor with about 700rwhp in a cresida and he just decided to slap in a 1000rwhp one in the coming months

 exact the same as that, but blue, low with stockies on it and a intercooler painted black hidden in the front of it. he literally breaks traction in 5th at about 200kph, thing is stupid quick and such a sleeper aswell

maybe try emailing some of the international freight dudes, ive never done it but looked at getting engines/parts etc shipped in from mainly the UK.
my ruff estimate would be around 5k with all the taxes n shit they gonna make you pay, then you still have a right hand drive car...
