After an exhaustive evaluation of more than twenty five competitive automobiles, General Motors (GM) will take center stage at the fourth annual Sobre Ruedas Awards Ceremony for having a stellar 2008 line-up. Taking into consideration performance, styling, safety, technology and overall driving experience, an elite panel of judges selected GM for top honors in six out of the 13 possible categories, affirming GM’s leadership in innovation and quality. The ceremony will take place at the South Florida International Auto Show held in Miami on November 9. Several key GM executives will be on-hand to accept the prestigious awards.

- General Motors – 2008 Car Manufacturer of the Year
- Award to be accepted by Troy Clarke, President, General Motors Corporation

- 2008 Chevrolet Malibu – Best Vehicle of the Year and Best Sedan of the Year
- Award to be accepted by Bryan Nesbitt, Vice President, Global Design, General Motors Corporation

- 2008 Chevrolet Silverado – Best Pick-up Truck of the Year and Hispanic Choice Award
Award to be accepted by Tim Hudgens, Regional Marketing Manager, Chevrolet, General Motors Corporation

- 2008 Saturn Astra – Best Economy Car
- Award to be accepted by Bryan Nesbitt, Vice President, Global Design, General Motors Corporation

Hey, the 08 Malibu looks badass.

08 Malibu >>> 07 Impala

The new Sierras looks better than the new Silverados, but GM makes both... so I guess it dont really matter.
They still get paid.
