the use of electric cars maybe saving energy.....but where does the electricity come from....electric cars such as the plug-in ones get their juice from an outlet in ur home........the electricity for ur home comes from ur provider, and ur provider gets the energy from a powerplant, that 90% of the time will burn natural/unrenewable gases, unless u live in those areas that use renewable resources....so in the end ur still killing the same energy.....and that will increase as more ppl adopt these kinds of cars.......

on the other hand we wont use as much oil for cars....but there is many more uses for oil


ultimately were still killing the same energy regardless

im pretty sure for a long time coming....ppl are gonna still be driving gas powered cars.......wen electric cars come out....they gonna be more expensive than gas powered cars......jus like hybrids are now

hey, doubt an electric motor can put out the same amount of torque as a diesel engine... if so, it'd be huge... ridiculously huge.. and we need trucks to run on diesel to pull our shit around..

plus, what are all the car enthusiasts gonna do? it wont be to engineer an efficient engine, they'll just run to the circuit board and do some shit there... and you gotta be an engineer of some sort for that...

i recently read a article about a low key project mitsi got goin on making a electric evo, based of the 8 or 9 design i think but all electric motor and still did very similar times to its petrol relative...


but meh, i like the sound of motors not a buzzing of electricity
