2009 Nissan GT-R vs. 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo -- Inside Line

Seems like it lives up to the hype, but why is it so ugly?

The Porsche is a classic, the GT-R looks all mismatched.

Define classic. GTR is just the newer form of the skyline, just like the Infinity 35, and the skylines were around for decades. Their racing reputation isn't something to overlook either.

The 997 (new) 911 still has the same shape as the original 911, & is instantly recognizable as a 911.
The new GT-R looks nothing like any of the previous Skylines (which I think look much better).

I never said the Nissan was slow, just ugly.

the 911...although it stuck to its design roots, the move to go from the last generation headlight design to a more classic look....just takes the supercar look away from it.....
