My homeboy is considering selling his system, well parts of it anyway.

He has an Autotek MX-5000 amp and 3-Twelve inch Kicker l7 Solo-Baric subwoofers in a custom box.

All specs for these can be found on the links, here are some pics of the set he has...











In the last pic, thats a piece of printer paper to give you an idea of the size of the amp. Approx dimensions are 8 & 1/2" wide + 22" long + 2 & 1/2" thick. This amp is a classic, is a model no longer made, and this one was used minimally.

My boy is asking $700 for a tough to find system that would cost you about $1400 to put together @ todays prices. He spent about $2200.

Kicker subs suck so much ass. I guess they are good if you are just going for SPL, but if you want to actually LISTEN to music, I would rather go with an Adire Audio Brahma, REAudio XXX, Sound Splitter SX, or even a JLAudio W7.

I agree with the JL's, but then again if you want a big profile (aka to be heard from 4 blocks away), then any ~MODEL~ 12" you get is irrelevant. Three 12's and 2200 watts bridged is enough to get the job done.

And like I said, my boy is selling, so he doesnt need any help from haters who are just here to talk about the shit he has. You want to "talk" about stuff, take ur ass to a stereo shop.

Well, to everybody "interested" in buying. Don't buy that fucking garbage. If you want to actually LISTEN to your music while still waking up the neighborhood, I recommend you get the REAudio XXX. I was running 1900 Watts RMS on one, coupled with the car being fully sound deadened with 74 sq. feet of Dynamat Xtreme (850 watts to each voice coil), and 50 sq. feet of Damplifier Pro by Second Skin Audio, so all the bass stays INSIDE the car (Because only fucking idiots want people to hear their rattles, and not their bass). With the new XXX's they can move just as much air as 3 L7's while handling way more power.

If you don't believe me, look at the New XXX vs. the OLD XXX (Which still destroys shitty kicker subs).



Also running in the SPL competition with 4 ported into the truck.

Considering that ur talking about a sub that costs $650, and my boy is asking $700 for his subs + a box + an amp.... I would doubt anyone "interested" could find a more killer deal ANYWHERE.

Better to buy something new+superior, than used+inferior. Who knows, your boy probably bottomed those subs out, especially considering he has those subs in a sealed enclosure that is WAY too small for those subs to be moving the air that they should be moving.

My advice to anyone is don't ever get Kicker subs, because they are garbage, and to never buy them used from anybody because most of the dipshits that have kicker subs generally push them way too far.
