so today i got my car towed, its a prelude, 4dw. and the dude towed it while it was in park, with the two front wheels off the ground... did this fuck up my tranny?

ok i was just lookin at google and 4wd preludes dont exist,,, the reason i got it towed was cause im puttin a new engine in it.. and the mechanic told me i needed to order a different motor and pay an extra 800 bucks because the one he ordered wasnt a 4wd.. so i told him to fuck off and i am now taking it somewhere else, now that i learn that my car isnt 4wd,, its 4w steering, he was just tryin to jew me out of 800 bucks

1990, iv put alot of money into it and the money i would get right now for it without a motor i would be loosing like 2 grand, once i drop the new motor in it it will run like new and i like the body

As I recall you haven't had the car for long right? minus 2000 Vs. puttin $$ in for new motor and installation. Gotta wonder if it's all worth it. I would slang it and get somethin else, but to each his own. Good luck though.

Wait, how the mechanic not gonna know your cars not four wheel drive? Anyone who knows anything about cars knows that Honda cars don't come with AWD/4WD/Quattro/Whatever....

the way i look at it, if i go and buy a newer car, i would be spending the same money i would if i would just drop a new motor in it.. so either way im spendin the same money... and yah the mechanics are fuckin morons where i took it.. im now taking it to a place where my mom got her motor redone 10 years ago, and the engine is still running strong
