^i dunno, but i got a pioneer 800watt 12" with a pioneer amp and that shit pounds. especially in the box i built for it.

but i copped a Kicker C12 the other day, and im gonna try and cop another and hook those up.

Pioneer subs are good entry level subs. I've had a few pairs in my time and they aren't bad. But I prefer JL.

Its more important to have a good amp instead of sub's Subs can be replaced relatively cheap. but a good amp should run you 900 or more, to push anything of power otherwise you are just going to run them both

You actually need good quality subs and amps if you want quality sound. The amp can overpower and blow a cheap sub pretty quickly. I've done it and have seen it done number of times.

yeah but a cheap sub cost from 100-200 a pop, you could buy a jbl audio amp for 300, blow both and cost 500. so you really spend 1000 for the cheap shit twice or spend 1200 once and never have to do much else, was all i was trying to say. do it right the first time and benefit. you arent going to blow the amp if you spend money on it.
