If that Mustang is nice, see how much you can get for it. Find out how much you can get together, and then we'll recommend something.
I'd say Camaro, if you had enough cash. |

What are you lookin for?
Im guessing you want RWD instead of FWD or AWD??? Luxury or Sport car/Coupe or maybe Truck? New or Used? Get a 2010 Mustang GT or maybe the try the higher end Mustangs (Roush, Shelby, etc) Camaro SS or the Hennessey Camaro's Hennessey Performance Store | High Performance Upgrades, Parts & Accessories | Viper, Camaro, Challenger, Corvette, Jeep SRT8, CTS-V, GT-R Dodge Challenger Dodge Viper Chevy Corvette Cadillac XLR V, STS V, CTS V Dodge Charger Your choice.... |

In terms of realistic money, you can get an C6 Corvette for fairly cheap. Lot's of 'em for sale out there and parts for repairs and tuning are abundant. Drop the Callaway Corvette SC652 package on it...the 652 means delicious. You basically get a ZR-1 at a fraction of the cost

If you're in the states and trading in your mustang New Cars, Used Cars, Blue Book Values & Car Prices - Kelley Blue Book get an idea what a dealership will give you as a trade (even though it's a bit less cause they go for what they normally go for at an auction). But there's a ton of muscle cars out their for relatively good prices. The new Camaro's been gettin good reviews, but only the v8's.

No one mentioned the GTO. The GTO is the fastest, most powerful muscle car you can buy stock. Then you just add on to it. Unless you were one of those people that didn't like the design of it. I thought it looked incredible. Slap a supercharger on it and you've got one mean-ass Goat.

A Stock 2006 Pontiac GTO (The last year they made it) is a 6.0L V8 putting out about 400 HP and 400 ft-lbs of torque. The stock 2004 model was a 5.7L V8 putting out only 350 HP and 365 ft-lbs A stock 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS is a 6.2L V8 putting out 426 HP and 420 ft-lbs of torque. The Older 2000 ZL1 Camaro is a beast making 769 HP and 682 ft-lbs of torque. The GTO does have a better advantage against some of the older Camaros but not all of them. It is more powerful than a stock Ford Mustang GT at any year but than you also have the higher end models. Dont get me wrong though, the GTO is a nice car but "The fastest, most powerful muscle car you can buy stock"........Not in my opinion. As to the OP, you can also look into GTO as said above or a Pontiac Fire bird Trans Am. |
