 Oh, the things we have seen done to Lamborghinis on this blog. By now, you’re probably more used to the idea of the legendary supercar burning to a crisp than going into the drink. And believe it or not, what we have here is not another hundred-thousand-dollar Lambo misadventure for you to weep over--someone actually did this on purpose. Mike Ryan, inventor of the SeaRoader amphibian, claims to have converted this Countach replica as an experiment during the early stages in the development of his current sea-going fleet. Re-badged as the “Ryan Z1A,” the buoyant Countach, capable of about 15 mph in the water, was allegedly sold on eBay some years ago. I have to say I'm a little dubious about its existence--you’d think there’d be more photos available, and the emphasis on the subtlety of its aquatic features seems a little convenient. The Z1A gets only a casual mention on Ryan’s website, though this article tries to fill in some of the gaps. Elaborate hoax? You decide.
