Default NBA Defence or no Defence?

anyone else feel its almost impossible to defend someone sometimes? refs will just call ANYTHING and i think the rules have gotten waaaaaay to sissy, like a touch that actually does nothing gives u to the line. just like scottie pippin said. i wouldnt go as far as saying kobe's 81 was cuz defence is too easy now, but its getting pretty bad

I agree nothing like how it used to be with MJ and Hakeem.

But they are trying to bring back the older style of play.

There is zero defense in the NBA. U could name a few good on-ball defenders like Bruce Bowen, The Whole Piston startin lineup, Ruben Patterson?(Self Proclaimed "Kobe Stopper"), Artest, Kobe, Duncan. But there not a lot good perimeter on ball defenders. Thats why there are 4 ppl averagin 30+ ppg. And Gilbert Arenas averaging 29??? What? He can play but if there were actually some d-fense no way in hell would anyone be above 30 besides Kobe.

T-mac never gets credit for his defence, he gaurded nowintzki last year in the playoffs and did amazing on him, usually keeping him under 20

That wasnt TMAC that was sorry Ryan Bowen, and the statitician who corrected my last post, Kobe is a good defender, he made first team 2 or 3 years in a row, he locks down star players in crunch time but he can do it the whole game because his team needs him to score

Actually Tmac guarded him a couple of times but Ryan Bowen guarded him a majority of the playoffs.
