i'm a huge celtics fan and was kinda mad at the garnett trade, just cuz they sent away al jefferson.
and at this point in the season jefferson's got better stats, 22 ppg. 11 reb. a game granted garnetts sharing the load with pierce and allen and big al's pretty much buy himself. but those stats are just nasty and i'm kinda pissed the celtics won't have him

Look at the history of one man gangs...Tracy McGrady, Kobie Byrant, Lebron James... they can only do so much.
The difference between Al & Kevin is that Garnett has the experience to know when to pace himself & when to go harder. This situation in Boston for will only keep him healther for the playoffs...as for Al, he is fucked for the next 3 yrs unless he demands a trade

Al signed a contract extension with them, so he's there for a while.
Sad to see Al go, but we got KG, so its all good |

KG > Al anyday... who you think brings in the fans... Al or KG? If they just acquired Allen and not KG, not that much attention would be on the Celtics... but hey... to get talent you need to give up talent as well

Celtics traded away their future to when now. I cannot blame them cause they have been off the map for 18 yrs. Hopefully Glen "Big Baby" Davis can learn from going against K.G. to become better. Al Jefferson is going to be struggling for awhile. It to 7 yrs b4 Kevin Mchale finially surrounded K.G. with talent...I believe they ended up with the best record one season...so think how long it will take them to surround Al with talent.

i really don't think people realize how much talent Al has though. I knew he was gonna be good when he first got there, even more so from last year. I really didn't want to see him or Delonte go... but with way things are going i guess it's hard to be mad still. PP34 has been my favorite player for 6-7 yrs now and is why i first started to like the Cetlics. So it's just nice to see him have a good team again.

some of yall on some other stuff
KG>AL JEFF KG helps teams win even if he doesn't play He's a catalyst and a missing player for many teams KG is definitely a Top 50 player Ever... Al Jefferson had a nice season last year but he needs to get a championship, all star appearances, MVPs/awards, and post ridiculous numbers before he is even mentioned with KG
