Gerald Green... The Next Vince Carter

WOW.

Thats all i can say, have you seen this kid jump, yeah i'm a Celtics fan so its a bit biased coming from me, and i know hes only averaging 3.4 a game but seriously this kid can jump.

Hes played 27 games this season, about 20 of them have been like a minute or so in the last quarter and in the 7 he has played good minutes (15 plus) hes had 4 dunk of the nights and a few number 3's and 4's

Against Portland... Tony Allen threw it off the backboard , he elevated head level with the rim and slammed the rock home.

Against Toronto... Gets the pass on the fastbreak, slams home a powerful windmill...

Against New York last night... On the fast break, he gets the pass from Scalibrine and posterizes Jerome James (Play of the day)
and before that dunk he slammed it down on someone else (Number 3 in top 10)

He's also had loads of put back dunks and shit and i remember watching him in the summer league when he span out his defender and gave a messy facial to someone on the Magic (Not Dwight Howard though )

I swear to god though, this guy is the future of the Celtics... he's gonna win the Dunk Contest next year

The thing is tho, Vince can do alot more than just dunk. I havent seen alot of Green, but at this point, he´s reminding me more of someone like Harold Minor.

i agree fam this nigga could end up being the future for yalls franchise you guys got young people at every position so if they develope like they should yall should be making major noise in the next 2 to 4 years

Yeah VC's a 100 times better than Green, but Green's 18, fresh outta high school and he's got a good 20 years in him.

Also, he can shoot the 3. But he really needs to work on his 'D', but the Celtics are really gonna work with him over the summer so i can't wait till next season

Whoa, when Vince Carter won the Dunk contest, thats when he was at the top of his game, and then he had like a 42 inch vertical leap.

Gerald Green is at the worst of his career and he can only improve every aspect of his game and at the moment hes gotta 45 inch vert.

Plus hes taller than VC and is built like him.

Hes athletic, and you can see he will be good. Right now, ya he can throw, not like vince, but he can throw. Hes not nearly as talented right now, but he came out of highschool and i think he went 18th, and at 18th thats a steal. He'll be sick
