Kobe and company really made a game of it, but ultimately his effort was in
vain as Howard, Lewis, and down syndrome lookin' Hee-dough helped the
Magic improve their NBA best road record to 10 - 2.

The game was close all the way through, with the Lakers even being the
team with the 3 point lead and trying to push the envelope. The Magic kept
up though, and when Turkoglu dropped a 3 with 4:22 left in the 4th the
Magic never looked back. They ended the game on a 13 - 4 run sealing the
win.

For the Lakers Kobe was, as always, spectacular. 19 in the first half and 28
for the game, not a sub-par performance at all (or one any fan or writer can
speak badly of). Bynum is looking like the best decision the Lakers front
office has made in recent history, he looked stable in his 28 minutes-in-the-
middle against Howard and helped hold the NBA's best center to under 20
points. Bynum also had 7 blocks. Thats right, seven.

Lamar Odom... well... its not like he is a good player or anything. He needs
to learn to hit the "big shot" soon or else his days in LA are numbered. So he
scored a quiet 19, big deal. He went 2 of 6 in the waining minutes of the
game, and also had a costly turnover right after a Laker timeout that led to
an easy Magic layup and the establishment of a 7 point lead. Basically, I
dunno why people in the Laker organization have faith in this guy. Fuck 'em,
he's always been a loser. Trade Odom, trade Radmanovic, trade Crittendon.
Keep Farmar and Bynum. Keep Kobe. Get a true 2nd scorer and maybe the
Lakers could play spoiler to some teams in this years' playoffs.
