Default Tigers send top prospects to Marlins for Cabrera and Willis

The Florida Marlins and Detroit Tigers have agreed in principle on a trade that will send Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis to Detroit for key prospects, sources told ESPN's Peter Gammons on Tuesday.

The Tigers would send outfielder Cameron Maybin, pitcher Andrew Miller, catcher Mike Rabelo and minor league pitchers Eulogio De La Cruz, Dallas Trahern and Burke Badenhop to the Marlins.

The deal is expected to be announced Tuesday night when the physicals and paperwork are completed.

the tigers have the nastiest lineup in all of baseball... this team will win 90 games... the division is theres... what the fuck do the indians have on them? tigers even have pitching... actually, same as last year.. maybe some bullpen upgrades.. but do you need a BP when you're gonna be scoring 6 runs a game on average? how many people on taht team are capable of 100+ ribbies?? damn.... sheff, maggs, guillen could do it, pudge, now miggy... 500+ ribbies.. if they go over it could get near 700... fuck me.. we might need to hand them the WS trophy on opening day ceremonies

Well what the last year is that their big bats did not perform last year. To the Red Sox got a great batting order...& even if they get Santana or that starter from the A's...they could may open up a 6 man starting rotation..wow

my fucking cubs were supposed to land that deal 2 years ago and they didnt pull the trigger. thats a hell of a pick up. but still hate tiger pistons and lions. im from chicago its all cubs bears bulls!!! and they all suck lol
