Default basketball rant

who is buying into adam morrison being potentially the next larry bird? i wont lie the kid can shoot but everytime ive seen someone with a 7 foot wingspan with his hand in his face the kid cant hit a fucking shot (i.e your typical sized 3man in the nba now a days) i think this kid is gunna be a huge bust. im not saying reddic is a must be lottery pick, but i think he will definitly be more key (depending on where he goes) to his team then morrison. the kid is an amazing deep shooter and as long as he knows his role in the game he can be what a team needs to go from decent to playoff run. watch all of the teams next year that have squads out of nowhere now that the kids HAVE to go to college. college basketball is forever changed. imagine having lebron changes coming back next year to finish his senior season at some college. aint any1 fucking with that team. you have dwight howard grabbing 26 boards in a game against the best athetes in the world, what do you think he would be doing 2 years from now against your typical d1 team? that new rule is gunna forever change the draft, hopefully for the better but most likely for the worst to be honest. what does everyone think noaha should do? return or go pro this year?

im pretty sure if one of them really wanted, they could take that shit to court and win that shit easily.

cuz some guy back in the day (first player to go straight from high school) had to go to court and won in court to b eligable to play rite from highschool, so if they went to the courts about it they'd win automatically pretty much.

yea theres no way around it anymore after that rule was passed. he won that case because this rule wasnt in the nba players unions agreement. pretty much fucked now you gotta play the year in college. similiar to the nfl rule that gives minimums on how long you have to be out of highschool before being draft eledgibible. i dont think any kid with that much skill is gunna wanna turn into the next maurice clarret and end up playing nowhere for 2 years because of a trial most kids are gunna just suck it up and play college basketball for a year before signing there 100 million dollar endorsement deals.

First & Foremost, Reddick needs a prime time player to succeed, like Kobe, or Lebron.

Secondly, Morrison is 6'8, he'll be good, he wont be a bust. At the same time he wont be Bird, but hes 6'8, can shoot, competitive, a bit athletic. He'll do well.

More over, age limit is 19, but what players can do is go over seas, go to the NBDL, or just train, its there choice. Your're tellin' me if Greg Oden chose to train he still wouldnt be 1 in the '07 draft (OJ Mayo cant enter).

Finally, hell yes Noah should have left. Hes guarnteed #1 this year, which means a high ass pay cheque! I know hes rich, but fine, you could go 1 thats a sick accomplishment, & next year, you'll have to go up against Oden.... more importantly, lets be honest, Florida aint repeatin.... UNC or Ohio St. will win.... Noah shouda left

the only simliarites between bird and morrison arethey are about 6'8 white and can shoot. when u put pressure on morrison he starts missing. i agree redick needs a key player around him , some1 to get attention so he cantake the 3's. maby after hitting some and drawing attention start moving the ball around. he is gunna be a key peice if he goes to the right team.

if u just "train" for a year, without playin any games where scouts can see u, no matter how good u were, they're still not gonna pick u 1st just cuz u havent been playing somewhere, u cant just train
