Seeing as RapGodfathers is dominated by posters from the US (Adus' home country), i would like to know your views on this soccer star 'wonderkid'. Views from posters of different nations will be very much appreciated too.

i saw this kid play at a local tournmentaround here when he was like 12 years old maby. the ball was like a magnet to his foot. hes gunna be special.

the MLS gets like little to no TV time (at least here it doesn't, the MLS isn't even on ESPNEWS)... i haven't seen Freddy Adu play at all, although I've heard he's a star.

hes good on the champ manager games!! but have never watched him play so dont know, but things i've heard about him and get told he is gonna be very good!

Yep, heard bout him cuple of years ago he was supposed to be next big star in world football, but neva really ceen him play
he is supposed to be on the way to Chelsea soon......

If continues growing he'll be somebody. The US soccer/football federation won't let him be a bust or flop, crazy as that may seem.
He'll be a star because he has a lot of tricks and pace. Also you can't judge him on MLS because he will make a pass and a teammate wouldn't read the play and it makes Adu look bad. Same thing last year at the Under 20 World Championships in Holland. They play him by himself upfront and expect him to do all the work. I see him ending like Kaka, midfielder he sets up and scores a good amount.
