This really sucks...but what can you do...injuries are part of the game. I think he will be a nice spark off the bench playing maybe 12-15 minutes a game. He prolly would have started during the playoffs had he come back in 8 weeks like they originally said but that doesnt look like its gonna happen.

No, it sucks for the rest of the NBA because it is only going to make the Lakers better even if Bynum comes off the bench.

Lakers can win with what they have now.
It sucks for the them and all, but no worries. I really think they are allowing his injury all the time it needs to heal on purpose, since there are direct benefits other than a recouperated Bynum. Teams also wont know how to match up with the Lakers in the playoffs if they never see Bynum and Gasol on the court together. And if the Lakers rotate Turiaf in and out for more defensive presence, I would bet if Bynum is still a defensive beast, he may get a few more unexpected playoff minutes. I can see Gasol and Bynum being rebounding beasts, Gasol and Turiaf as the starters, and Bynum and Turiaf on the court when the Lakers need a stop & a defensive board. Ya'll still gonna lose to the Spurs or Suns tho lol

It sucks for the rest of the NBA because the Lakers have been killing teams without him.

G-Kobe Bryant
G-Derek Fisher F-Vladimir Radmanovic F-Lamar Odom C-Pau Gasol This will prolly be their starting line-up for the playoffs. Bynum and Turiaf will come off the bench and replace Gasol...or Gasol will play forward while Bynum plays center...in any situation the lakers will dominate.

IDK, there are a lot of teams I think matchup well with the Lakers in a series type of thing... like the Hornets or the Nuggets...
