Who is this year MVP? Is it Kobe, King James, KG, Chris Paul??? Who is more important to their teams?
Kobe should win his first one but when KG didn't play with the Celtics they did not look that great without him. When KG came back they started showing their winning ways again. Now granted the West is a separate leauge compared to the East. So should that weigh on your decision? West is a tougher conference.......their 10th seed team (Portland) is over .500..............East their 7th seed team (76'ers) is the last .500 team (barely over .500) HOW DO YOU FEEL?

Paul Pierce has also done very well, as has Ray Allen... any one of those three guys go down.. The Celtics are in trouble.... Chris Paul has done a hell of a job turning that team into a contender.. The east is soft.. especially when a team like The Pacers can make the playoffs like 12 games under .500.. lol.. In the West, A team with 50 wins probably won't make it...
Tracy Mcgrady Chris Paul Amare Stoudamire Tim Duncan Paul Pierce Kevin Garnett Lebron James Kobe Bryant If I had my vote today,Probably would go to Chris Paul..

My pick: Chris Paul.
I know mad people gon say Kobe, but Kobes not playing like that year he shouldve won MVP. Chris Paul on the other hand is prolly the most valuable to his team than anyone else. With Gasol and Bynum, and that bench the Lakers have they could lose Kobe for a while. IDK what theyll do in the playoffs. Chris Paul on the other hand... the Hornets need him... Without him theyre ass. The Hornets have absolutely no bench depth and yet they still sit atop the West. And he someone has finally knocked off Nash as a apg leader. In the end, I think its gon be between Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul. LeBron James - No, maybe next year. They let the Magic get a better record than them, and LeBron aint been beasting like in the beginning of the season. Kevin Garnett - No. They have Paul Pierce! He has been more valuable to the team than anyone else. Tim Duncan - No. The Spurs are my favorite team but we can win without him. Tracy McGrady - Hell No! Hes injured everytime they lose and is never seen flinching when they win. Hes not even a leader. Rafer Alston carried that team during that lil stretch they had. Amare Stoudemire - No. They still have proof of how dumb Amare looks without Nash on the court.

Never that... its just too close to call at the moment.
If the Hornets finish #1 in the West it would be tough to say that Chris Paul was not the main factor. With the West as close as the West has been this year, for the Hornets to win it and take the top seed with homecourt advantage, Chris Paul would get my vote over Garnett. If the Spurs take #1 in the West, give it to KG. If its the Lakers, give it to Kobe. Houston, WHY NOT T-MAC? Lebron... has MVP #'s, but his team does not have an MVP record. Let him prove it in the playoffs again... Now is that a cop out? Right there? :killthema
