2007-08 NBA Rookie of the Year?
Here is a breakdown of the candidates on ESPN
Of course Durant gets my vote. Scola was not far behind he had a great season and was a great acquisition for the Rockets. Aaron Afflalo (UCLA) is also playing well, but not enough stats for a ROY bid. He may turn out to be one of the few Rook's that get to be a big contributor for his team deep in the playoffs tho, seeing as how Houston and Atlanta may not go very far. What do ya'll think?

Durant followed by Hortford. Al Thornton and Moon are dark horses for it.

I think Durant is going to win it but Horford should win it. Horford was consistent all year. He played a complete game (almost averaging a double double no one else even close). He is not a scorer but he plays d, rebounds, gets his pts in the paint (he can knock down the 10-15 footer as well), and he will knock you out if he has too(TJ FORD)LOL. It took Durant too long to get into his groove taking a million shots early in the year and making only 300
 . Now that he has found his scorers groove somewhat that has pushed him in front.

Al Horford, his team may make the playoofs, they didnt make it last year... Durant progressed but his team got a worse rec than last year..
