Players lose skills as they get old but based off his career I think he holds the title of being the most dominant player to play the game and arguably the best center to ever play the game

NBA is base off of rings, stats, & superstar opposition (In that order)
Shaq had the rings but never had real competition when he was in his prime. Sure he had it when he was young..( David Robinson, The Dream, & Ewing.) But he ran the league (in his prime) when he was the only true center. Shaq doesn't have the stats like Wilt, nor the rings like Russell. But he is the best center in the past 14 yrs.

I would rate him higher if he wasn't so damn lazy. He wouldn't stay in shape during the off season and wouldn't work on his conditioning. He lost years of his career because he was content being bigger and stronger, instead of being fit. Greatest center of his generation, top 5 all time. He could have been the GOAT.

co sign. In 1999-2000 he was the regular season mvp, the all-star mvp, won the scoring title. O yeah and was the MVP of the nba finals. Arguably one of the greatest seasons ever. He changed da game and he's da greatest just asked kobe how good he is. Bet he wish he had him instead of Pau.
