10 Years later, Mark Jackson still hates Michael Jordan?
Last night I was watching the NBA Finals and the topic of Kobe being compared to MJ came up. Mark Jackson reiterated that he thought Kobe was just as good as MJ. When he said this I personally had no problem with that, opinions are like assholes - everybody has one! I am a huge MJ fan but I am also a realist and I can say Kobe is just a couple notches below Michael in terms of overall talent. MJ IS STILL THE KING!
I'll give Kobe his propz, but what Mark Jackson said next is what convinced me that after all those wars between MJ and the Knicks there is still some hard feelings. (MJ=6 Rings, Mark Jackson=0 Rings). This motherfucker said that he would give out an ultimate starting five and began to run off names starting with the point guard and ending with the center. "Magic, KOBE, Dr. J, Bill Russell, Wilt". I couldn't believe this shit. MJ is the standard by which all others are measured and can't even put him there on an all time team? He refuses to give MJ his propz, he would rather support Kobe in order to nullify MJ's greatness. Just because Michael made Mark Jackson his bitch for 10 years (Starks played good D on MJ) doesn't mean when the dust is settled you still can't recognize how raw he was. I now know for a fact that Mark Jackson hates MJ with a passion and will never give him propz the same way Larry, Magic, and all the greats do. What do ya'll think, is Mark Jackson dillusional or is he still pissed about being tortured by MJ on the court?

Well, his hate could be understood.
Jordan is the definition of a WINNER, and how many rings did Jackson win ? As you said : none. You just can't ask this guy to be objective because of the rivality between Chi-Town and NY back in the dayz...
