Default Kobe & Lakers ?

If the Lakers don't win the championship this year (odds r against them) or next year, does anyonethink Kobe will opt out his contract @ the end of net season. If they don't win next yaer i can c Phil Jackson hanging it up & i think Kobe will leave the lakers out 2 dry. What yall think

if Bynum stays healthy and Odom(or who ever we trade him for) don't get injured the Lakers will win next year.

Anything is possible... but I think Kobe is happy being a Laker for life. He has a owner that willl do anything (even shit that is almost ILLEGAL) to get him that ring he wants.

You may be right about Phil tho...

Why are the odds against them? Andrew Bynum's coming back which means a starting lineup of D Fish or Jordan Farmar Kobe, Odom, Gasol, and Bynum. Thats a great starting lineup. Lakers have a bright future. Kobe wont leave the lakers hanging and i dont think Phil will hang it up till he gets his 10th ring.

i hear a lot of talk bout Bynum coming back but i never hear anyone talking bout would he be able to play with paul gasol in the front court. i know they want be able to run the floor like they are running now when he get back. the west will be much tougher next year & it would suprise me i they become a dynasty if kobe stays. i can't c it .
