Our Raptors Atlantic Division doesn't look the same as it did two seasons back,that's for sure! NY will be better,Toronto is better,you have Boston..the defending champ's & you have Philly,the worse out of the bunch might be New Jersey....Gonna be an interesting year.

Cleveland Cavaliers sign free-agent center Lorenzen Wright

"The Cavaliers have signed veteran center Lorenzen Wright to a contract, General Manager Danny Ferry announced Friday. Per team and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed, but NBA sources indicated it was a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum of $1.2 million. Wright, 32, played 13 games last season with the Atlanta Hawks and five games with the Sacramento Kings. The 6-11, 255-pound center was drafted out of Memphis by the L.A. Clippers with the seventh overall pick in the 1996 NBA draft and has played in 761 career games (445 starts). He averages 8.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He is expected to fill the role vacated when forward Joe Smith was traded in the deal ..."

Knicks shopping Zach Randolph to Grizzlies in possible Darko Milicic deal

"Donnie Walsh is on the verge of correcting one of Isiah Thomas' biggest financial mistakes. Walsh, the Knicks president, confirmed Saturday that the Knicks are in talks with the Memphis Grizzlies about a possible deal for Zach Randolph, the veteran power forward who doesn't fit into Mike D'Antoni's up-tempo offense. "There is no deal," Walsh said over the telephone early Saturday. "We've spoken to Memphis but there is nothing happening so far." A source close to the negotiations said that a trade is unlikely to take place before Monday. Walsh refused to comment on a report in Memphis Commercial Appeal that claims the Knicks would be required to pick up part of the deferred payments ..."
