You just can't take 41 years + an NBA Champion team franchise away from the people of Seattle, and we were pretty much conned into this shit with the damn $500 million dollar stadium they knew we were going to reject. There was nothing special about the Hornets because they were an expansion franchise, as well as a temporary location due to Hurricane Katrina unlike the Sonics.

I've supported them for as long as I know, which was in the Payton prime era. I'm not mad at OKC as a city, I'm more pissed at all of our legal people in Seattle for not giving a damn, Howard Schultz for his dumbass ways and the NBA commish for being such an hypocritical prick about it. You just cannot flat out say that Clay Bennett tried his best to keep the team in Seattle and turn around and bring it to his hometown, out of all places on the map. It's not even the fans fault, I mean are you going to move Boston Celtics when they were the worst record team and no1 was in that arena? No of course not, they're a championship franchise, maybe the Sonics weren't as popular but we have just as much history.

Oklahoma probably deserves a NBA team, it's just the fact that it was previously a 41 year historical team, and if I were in OKC, I would want a new franchise that started from scratch, not a team of players who (in all) belong to another state that actually did support them.

Now excuse me while I burn my Durant, Lewis, Allen and Payton jerseys while intoxicated.

And honestly the thing that hurts us fans of Seattle the most is not because we lost them to fan base, history or anything like that, we lost our franchise NBA team because of money. Business is business I guess, but to say the NBA cares, fuck the NBA because they're a bullshit of a ran business that don't care about fans, they only care about $ bills.

Fuck Clay Bennet, fuck David Stern, and Fuck the city of Seattle. This is so fucking bullshit. That fucking scumbag had no intention of keeping the team in Seattle which was part of the conditions of the sale, and he gets away with murder. Fuck his faggot ass.

Oklahoma City SuperSonics.... It just don't sound right to me... But it is the City of Seattle's fault that they didn't support their team when it was needed. NBA Commissioner David Stern said for years that Key Arena needed to be fixed up... Now it took multiple warnings: from the owner, the commissioner, and a threat of OKC's arena (which is up to league standards--and was a GREAT fan base when the Hornets played) to make the fans and supporters to do anything about it... And now its too late. My advice: Do what Charlotte did and make some noise in city council meetings for the next couple of years and plan a budget to get a team back in Sea-Town..

Hmmm, I don't know what an Okie Dokie is. Do you??

But what's really fuckt up is that now that we have an NBA team, what tha fuck are we gonna name them? I don't think the City's going to allow us to be called The Hoodstas. Stern might have a heart attack if he sees a bunch of niggas in the front office at the Ford Center or if he goes up in the skybox and it smells like sherm and Patron. They'll refer to Clay Bennett as "C-Lay". "What's crackin, cuzz??" LMBAO!!

Once again it's not our fan base, we had thousands of people who support the sonics in their highs or lows, and we fought but the whole decision was out of our control. We were offering to buy the team, build a new stadium for 1/2 the costs, we paid to renovate the keyarena not too long ago. We just got stripped due to an uncaring political system that only cares about money. I WANTED to see our rookies grow into great players, have a great team but how are we supposed to when there were no VETS on the Sonics. It seemed like a big conspiracy to get rid of the fans in the stadium to give us the worst record we can, to justify leaving. We had the worst draft picks prior to the Durant/Oden debate, and now we have all these great draft picks
in some other team. I'd love to support Portland but it's just hella fucked up we got stripped of our own team.
