american football is simple shit all they do most from what i've seen is they pass the ball behind them to a player who throws it down the field to his team mate who will catch it and then TOUCH DOWN and sometimes one player can run through about 5 or 6 fat bastards and score a TOUCHDOWN

yet real football (or soccer to some ignorant people) is a real tactical game that's why teams like arsenal who don't have the best player's but as a team their great to watch coz of wenger's tactic's and just because footballers don't throw themselves at each doesn't mean it can't be the best sport, it is the best sport in the world and is unrivaled when it comes to fan's passion for a sport

you don't see a lot of "fat bastards" really..you have several different positions,with different skill sets & even body sizes for these different positions.....Guys may be 300 some pounds,but a lot of that is muscle.

They don't pass the ball to anyone behind them ....They hand the ball to the running back,who tries to run through a brick wall of guys to get as much much yardage as possible...pretty exciting really.Theres guys in the backfield who are pretty damn skilled doing everything they can to prevent the pass from the QB..to any # of people..you make it sound like its a family picnic.

every sport has some awkward moments.Just because you can find some weird shit if you go looking for it doesn't make an entire sport gay...
