If they are that big of a name it won't help them cause they will special treatment for being the star player. The couple a drafts is proof of this...look how many freshman got drafted. I bet more than half of those that did get drafted would have skipped college in the first place. Either let the kids skip college or make it like 2-3 season removed from high school if he really wants to make a difference but 1 year aint shit.
Good Point but if you make it 2-3 years then niggas comin outta high school will definitely over to Europe because they want the money now.

C/S that 1 year shit is garbage.

I really wouldn't be surprised to see some NBA Stars head over to Europe, especially with the dollar and the fact they would only have to play 40 or so games. That would give you a few extra years on your career.

Don't you think Armani Milan would love to have Kobe Bryant in their uniform?

If a player wants to play in the best Pro Basketball League in the world, then there coming to the NBA.Euro Leagues are no NBA,not even close,I'm guessing the stadiums are smaller, there is no way the game would get the attention it does in the U.S & Canada, and all over the world for that matter.
Josh Childress in the NBA, is probably a top 7 or 8 player on an NBA Team, over there he could maybe be one of the top players...but who is ever gonna talk about what ever title he would be playing for? Everyone knows about the NBA Championship...So I can't see it being a huge trend, your always gonna have some fringe guys go over there.I think another thing is, they don't get hit as hard tax wise either, so that is a bonus...I mean what is Childress getting over there? 10 mill a year? He wouldn't ever get that here with his 10 or 11 ppg.

I don't think as a kid, people decide to play the game for money, or to play less..they love the game & enjoy it, just happen to excel with it & can make a living off it..I don't think I would wanna play less, and like i said in my last post, your dream is to win NBA titles & to compete against & with the best players in the world...
I could maybe see when this generation of stars , say get to be late 30's or 40's & they will go over to there to make a lot of money, where in the NBA they couldn't...and there star has gone down here, they could be huge over there..Like Kobe, has 3 - 4 titles under his belt, made a lot of money..I would have to think for any team to get a player of his caliber, would have to offer up 20-30 mil a year.
