Nov 5 - Floyd Mayweather Jr announces he is Retiring
Shortly after outclassing Carlos Baldomir to win the World Boxing Council welterweight championship on Saturday, Floyd Mayweather Jr. at an emotional press conference said he was retiring after one more fight.
At the press conference, Mayweather who repeatedly broke down in tears, announced: "One more fight, then that's it for me. Every time I fight, it's blood, sweat, and tears, because I love the sport. It's not just a job." Mayweather cited wear and tear on his body, plus a desire to leave on top. In regards to his performance against Baldomor, Mayweather told the media: "I thought could knock him out down the stretch, but I hurt my hand. I highly doubt he will retire. He'll jus do a Hopkins or Trinidad and come back. Check out Boxingscene.com/forums for more.

I take it you didn't even see the fight Rehmann. Mayweather didn't run. He boxed like he normally boxes. His capability to fight moving forward, backward, and side to side is incredible. He's swift on his feet and quick with his punches.
He secured the victory in the early rounds in which he injured his right hand as well. That would explain the punch dodging later on in the fight. But either way, Floyd Mayweather dominated this fight. He's a clever fighter that boxes circles around his opponents. Which is why he's on top of his game.

I like Floyd but those last 2 fights with zab and carlos was fucking boring, hell i was pissed to order a fight that was boring the carlos fight was so bad people in the arena was leaving, hell I was entertained watching Hopkins and Winky last fights and they dont even appeal to the crowd as entertaining, I just hope his last fight is with Oscar D. so he can go out with a bang beating another great fighter while being entertaining.

I think he's going to come out of retirement. If he loves the sport like he claims he does he'll never be able to leave it alone. But if he really does retire I can respect that. Nothin' wrong with leaving while you're on top!
