Carolina dominated the first half. Hibbert did his usual thing, but he was in some foul trouble as usual, too. The difference in the second half was Georgetown wasn't letting UNC get any second chance points which is how they did in the first half and how they won against USC.

Anyway, watch out for UNC next year. If none of 'em go to the L, it's gonna be something special.

shit was lookin like last yrs nba finals in the 1st half.

fuck hansborough. overrated ass nigga. 10/10 from ft line for the game but then in ot missed both his fts. AINT CLUTCH!

^haha. Those free throws really didn't mean shit. The game was already lost. They got outscored like 15-3 in overtime.

I got mad respect for the Georgetown players, but their fans at the game didnt know shit about basketball. Those "pussy fouls" you talk about, your slow ass big men were fouling the hell outta our players because they couldnt keep up with them. The problem was the refs called the game tight as shit in the 1st half, and then didnt call anything in the 2nd half...UNC missed a bunch of open shots, but how the fuck is Hansbrough supposed to score in the paint when he gets hacked by 3 guys and they don't call anything???? Or when Hibbert or Green had that obvious goaltend and they didnt call it???? Dont whine like Georgetown didn't get their share of the calls, cause if they hadn't, they'd be sitting at home right now.

This part is only for those that understand X's and O's and don't talk sports out of their ass (start watching espnews):

People always point at the discrepancy between fouls to say that Carolina gets "preferential treatment" from the refs..What these people don't understand is Carolina's offense is based on pushing the ball downcourt and running the fast and secondary break. This tires out the other team, because they have to run back on defense constantly, and usually the big guys aren't able to get into proper defensive positioning. As a result, they have to foul to stop UNC from getting easy layups, which is why Georgetown got called for so many fouls in the first half....Then the crowd boos and the refs are like "ohh we have to even out the fouls" and as a result, UNC gets murdered in the 2nd half and no one calls shit
