aite so my sister got a ipod nano 2g, it aint the brand new one but its the 1 right before that... neways her comp aint recognizing her ipod but when she plugs it in2 my comp mine recognizes it but i cant manually put any songs on2 hers....

i dunno about the computer not showing the ipod....does she have itunes installed?

and there is an option that u can change the ipod from filling up from a certain list (which is factory settings) to putting shit on manually. i would tell u where it is, but i dunno where it is for nanos on itunes

tell her to restart the computer with the iPod plugged in... if that doesn't work just use winamp because iTunes sucks anyway.

yeh we jus reinstalled itunes on there... at first it was jus not syncing the songs she bought but now it aint even detecting her ipod....

Okay I Just got the New 80GB Classic, I Want to also Manually Add And Remove Songs From My Ipod, (for those having trouble with that, look in Edit>Prefrences, and check the Syncing tab, Make sure the box for Disabling the automatic sync is off....Then with your Ipod Connected, go to it in the devices section, and check each tab for boxes that ask to Manually manage your media, or something like that)

Anyhow, my issue is that i dont like to keep my stuff on the Itunes Library, once i put it on the Ipod I get rid of it from the itunes Library...In the Case That I want to Take the songs on my iPod and Put them on a PC, does anyone know what is the best Application to use for that?

i got an ipod classic 30Gb and i am about to buy the new 160GB ipod...if it connect and use the same computer to add new music to both of them will the library get deleted on any of them?...propz if anybody can help
