Default Don't know where else to ask this...
okay, here it goes... I got a new 27 inch tv... no name brand (electrohome) and looks nice or w/e. Now I just wanna use it to play my ps3 on, but when i turn it on and w/e i see a blue screen saying "no signal" i tried almost everything rearranging the wires in the back and trying different things but everything ends up in the same result. Did anyone else have a similar problem and can give me tips about how to access the video screen because I don't know how to do shit with this television... thanks

the tv pry has the inputs in the back that look like its hd...but its pry hd capable and not ready

It might be an HD Ready TV which I'm pretty sure means you can only get HD through a cable box whereas an HDTV you can get HD from anything HD capable.

maybe you have the cords right but you need to just change the tv settings example put the tv on av1,av2 and see if that works

I had the same troubles with the wires that came with my PS3. I ended up hooking my PS3 thru the HDMI cables (sold seperately). Check to see if that TV has a HDMI connection if the back....if it doesn't call Sony & curse them out till they fix ur problem.

yeah i got the tv to work now, i tried switching the cables in the back and it ended up working... but the graphics and sooo shit on it... like my old school 15 year old tube tv looked better than what's being displayed on this lcd. You guys think i need to buy an HDMI cable and hook it up to my PS3 to get the graphics to be above par? And please recommend all the cables and wires i need to get in order to make the graphics nice. Thanks for your help guys
