First you need to know what motherboard is in your system. thats the only way to look up the specs that say what your PCs maximum supported RAM speed and capasity.
With that said you should download THIS PROGRAM AIDA32 will tell you the make and model of your motherboard as well as a plethora of other info about your PC Once you have that info Google your motherboard make and model or go to the mafacturer of your motherboard and look at it there. I know for a fact that if u have a dell you can skip all of this all together and just go view the user manual for your PC and look under the "Technical Specs" part of the manual and all the info you need will be there. if you have any problems then email or Private Message me and ill try to help you out some more.... Good Luck |
