i just bought a 32" samsung LCD TV
it says u can connect from ur pc to ur tv and i got a cable that has two ends one is HDMI and the other is dvi i thought i would be able to plug it in to my comp and it failed miserably what am i missing ?

if ur tv has a vga compenent then all u need is a vga cable and connect from the computer to tv,,work real good for watchin' movies from the computer

^^ even if your video card has dvi out dont u have to make sure the video card is HTPC compliant to use the dvi to hdmi cable?

Nope. I'm running a shitty X800 Pro (Not HDCP Compliant), and it works just fine.

yea my current computer is old as hell still need a new one i might just upgrade whats in the case the case and shit
