Does more Mb for a download mean better quality?

for example I just downloaded a cd @ 79 mb
and saw another one... exact same album... w/100+

I really doesnt understand cd quality...

Is this (could this) also be an indication of good/better quality

Bit rate is what you want to look for as far as quality goes. The difference in MBs could be due to a higher bit rate or just an addition of album art, links to uploaders blog, and documents about the artist or release.

Most likely better quality, since it's a difference of about 20+ MBs.

Yeah...but it's hard to make a difference between, for example 128 KBPS and 192 KBPS, so, download whatever you want!!!!

usually it seems a 192vbr will be around 80MB and a 320vbr will be 100MB+

Usually the larger MBs, the better the sound quality...yet sound quality don't mean shit if you don't know where it comes from (i.e., it could be a 320kbps "rip" from a less-than-ideal source, such as the Internet, vs. a 320kbps rip from a CD, which would be of substantially higher quality).

Still, there's not a huge difference one can perceive in quality between 320kbps and usually about 192kbps, most people can't tell between 320 and 128, so in all honesty it shouldn't affect sound quality too drastically.

Right click a song file, go to properties, then summary. On iTunes, you can right click a song, go to get info, then summary.
