Ipod Touch JailBreaking Help
I'm thinking about jailbreaking my iPod Touch 1.1.4
Can someone please list the pros and cons of doing this. and do I have to restore it before I can Jailbreak it? (considering this will take all my songs out and I don't have the will to put them back in. haha). And last can someone point me to where I can get step-by-step instructions Thanks Fam Propz will be given for any reply. I also bought the software upgrade for it back in easter. I was wondering if I'd lose that 20$ that it cost by restoring it.

yup...gotta restore. whenever i had question on how to do something on it i just went to youtube and searched touch 1.1.4 and all the tuts would come up... for you it might be touch 2.0 i dunno what firmware you have.

yeah I got the 1.1.4, what sucks is that I spent the 20$ to upgrade it, like a retard, haha. just for me to restore it.

can u dl it again for free next time ? well at least ull get everything back when jailbreak it...dont upgrade your firmware...a lot of progs are having problems with the 2.0 firmware.

yeah I got all that back. I just got done jailbreaking it. Now it won't let me download anything from the installer. I'm not sure what a firmware is either Lol I think went in over my head thanks though bro

nah its working now, it was saying "PACKAGE DOWNLOAD ERROR" or something like that.
One more quick question, how I do put the ROMS for games with the Emulators.

lol u paid $20 when u cud hav gotten it for free
 and theres 2 ways u can put roms on, 1 is through an instaler repo which basically means u can download them str8 onto ure ipod, the other way is manually copying them on through winscp (google). and check this site out and register, its the best site out there for help, advice, guides & info on ipod touch, plus theres loads of shit you can download: http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/
