Well im getting a new laptop next friday and I wanted to get windows media center but I looked online and ive been hearing that vista home premium comes with media center already built in...pretty much I just need to know if its better to just get media center by itself or is the vista one ok and whats the difference between straming media through windows media player to the 360 and with media center any advice will be appreciated and proped

I think you're comparing XP MCE (Media Center Edition) and Vista Media Center...
Overall, they're pretty much the same, I believe they both have 360 support, so you should be fine there. I *think* Vista's MC has more features, I know it looks slightly different as well. You should be fine with the Vista one, just double check if it's got full 360 support.
