Power Save Mode?

okay this happend yesterday not to mee i wasnt there soo my sister told me that she turn on the comp. and it says Power Save Mode and counts down and screen goes blannk but doesnt shut off it stays like that...... so she turns it off and retries stil same thing then she disconnnects and reconnects everything then it works again i wanna know why that happend the whole thing behind this and what is supppsoe to be done to fix this problem if it happens again i dont wanna panic about a a problem i dont know about if it happens again since im the one at home who knows most about comp. than anyone else

I think you can remove power save mode in bios at least i can
might be a serious problem I would google 'power save mode on startup' or something like that more than 1 person gotta have the same problem once
