It's bullshit. When we cancelled our cable subscription, it went off instantly. If you don't have a subscription, they're not gonna transmit the data to your house.

when you cancell cable or just don't pay your bill they kill the box first. but if you run the cable feed directly into the tv it will play for another 2 weeks or so before they come out to ya crib and disconnect you.if you are brave enough you can connect it back. i acually paid a "friend of a friend" at the beginning of the year and got cable and internet without a bill. if the cable goes out in a year he'll reconnect for free. if internet goes out in 6 months he'll reconnect it.

wow u guys this only works if you already are getting the broadband internet from certain providers that use filters like comcast and such so u can get the cable free but u still will have to pay for there broadband internet!
