Sound Problem
Windows Media Player and all other players i hav have stopped playing music.
AVIs and MPEGs play in VLC but there is no sound My sound card is fine i think because i can hear the MSN alerts, but i can't seem to find any devices when i check in control panel I can't reinstall shit coz we had it all hooked up by my cuzin who is away at University... Got any ideas?

Things to check
1. make sure plugs are securely mounted on the motherboard. 2. make sure audio isn't disabled in sound option menu. 3. Use System restore to revert it before the problem occurred. this isn't all, but it's a start.
