my mac is freezing up with a red screen once i boot it up it get to the home screen and then when i try to open pro-tools it freezes

no idea but is it the tower g5 or an imac g5? since one uses a screen separate from the computer and the other is the screen and computer in one.

maybe someone finally got bored enough to write a virus for the mac... AWESOME

i would say reinstall pro tools
