Did you even read the article? Or when it was published? Just in case you didn't, it was published on May 1st -- way before the iPhone 3G was announced. And they don't even use a real iPhone 3G, just some fucking hack... how can you even trust that?

18s over EDGE, 5s over 3G and 3s Wi-Fi... wayyyyyyy faster than EDGE.

They also compared a couple websites and the 3G loaded about 30s faster, only a little bit behind Wi-Fi.

Since I'm already an AT&T customer, all I'll be doing is paying $30 a month for the data plan. Which I was already used to paying with my BlackBerry back before I got my original iPhone.

poke the speaker with a needle and break the plastic. look on google for where to poke it, cuz it has to be a certain place i think. and btw if you have warranty on your iphone and you want to keep it, this will of course shatter that warranty pretty loudly (ha ha ha).

I watched the entire review of the phone, something tells me your just wrong. You might want to get your resources from something that was updated around the same time as the announcement of the 3G iPhone. Anyways... I think that the 3G iPhone will still shit on the first iPhone. Unless someone out there really has proof that the 3G is the same as the 2G, and by this i mean actually sit there asses down, and take notes on battery life, and all that other shit, then people will not no matter what give a fuck...

I got a homie at AT&T and he let me get the iPhone v1 without a data plan, I didn't need EDGE at all, all I needed was WIFI... Hopefully, If he lets me slide and get the 3G without a data plan,
