i don't know what happened but for some reason my pc won't read cd/dvds and it says the it doesn't recognize this shit, and i tried using daemon tools and that shit wont work neither, and i uninstalled the drivers and re-installed them, and this shit still don't work, any suggestions????? help me out

Did you check out device manager to see if it shows up? I used to see alot of code 39 error which are easy to fix.
(right click my computer and go to manage then click device manager)
