If you're trying to create movies, I'd go with either Ulead DVD Movie Factory or Nero 8.3. If you're trying to copy movies from retail, get that DVDFab 5 Platinum or DVDDecrypter.
If you're wanting to convert them from DivX to DVD, that ConvertXtoDVD is the shit. Hope this helps a whole lot.
