Aight well I just bought this shit right here. SCROLL DOWN
Im no newb, I have built many computers. So I put everything together fine. I was planning on using my old HD[s] and get all my important stuff imported over to the one for media. Then put a fresh version of XP Media Center [scared of Vista]. Ok so when I boot up the PC the Bios detects both Ram sticks and it goes to the Windows Loading screen w/ the bar. Then it goes blank then FLASHES a blue screen. Flashes to fast to read what it shows then reboots. If I let it, it would steadily do the same shit over n over. My guess right now it has to be a bad motherboard. Right? its possible from what I heard. In fact that heat sink I bought doesnt even work, I need to return it. It was DOA, I had to get one in a store. ![]() Also I know it aint the HD's cause I have a Bart PE disk and the loading screen completes then it goes to that blue screen n reboots. ![]() Anybody got any suggestions? Take video card out, and try one stick of RAM at a time (using that bootable CD you have). If it still does it, it's probably a faulty mobo

Download Ubuntu, burn the iso and run the live cd. It also have memory test built in so you can test your ram that way. Test the system that way.
So it flashes one it boot up windows? it's the harddrive then. try using a different harddrive to test it, don't reformat it, just plug it in and see what happens.

try disconnecting some fans(if you have installed too many),or getting a more powerful power supply unit

Try checking the Sata or IDE cables, it can cause all sort of problems. Try using different cables to see if it's that. Another it might be is the power supply, try switching the power connector to the harddrive with a different one and keep repeating it untill you test all of it.
You should start making a list of what you did during your testing before sending it off for RMA. It can take hours or days to find whats wrong with it. Another thing, do you have a camera? take a snapshot of the text during the BSOD.
