You need a DivX/XviD DVD player to play AVI files

I think there's a way to convert .avi in a another video format that a normal dvd player can play.

yeah i had the same question..but if you have Nero can you just add any type of video format and it converts for you and still lets you play it on a conventional dvd player

What i want to know, is, what should i use to get them to play in a DVD player? Also, subtitles are good

your DVD player has to be able to play VCD or DIvx
many are VCD compatible (this is used a lot in Asia ) while there are also some DVD playerss that are Divx compatible with Divx compatible players, all you have to do is put the .avi in the CD and it will play. |
